3 Day Sea Safari

An alternative holiday stay for those who want a few days to cultivate your hobby and get some wonderful experiences in nature.
With N/S Nemo as a base, a number of fishing events are offered with the primary focus on Sea Safari on the North Sea.
The stay starts with arrival at M/S Nemo on Tuesday evening and ends on Friday evening at approximately 18:00. (arrival is possible between Sunday evening at 9 pm and the night until Wednesday morning at 01:30).
After arrival, you can enjoy yourself in the lounge and then go down to sleep in our cabins.
Around 6-7 am (by appointment) you will be woken up and breakfast will be ready in the salon.
Then the day's fishing starts - interrupted by lunch and dinner. Fishing can be done until 10pm, but the default is that fishing stops at 6pm.
You are in port no later than 6pm on Friday 25 April 2025
There is plenty of space on the deck for fishing, as well as there are filleting tables where you can fillet yourself, there are 2-3 tables available, so there is also plenty of space here, and there is the possibility that we can fillet it for you, however at an additional cost (see the price in the conditions), there are of course also freezers available for storing catch.

Important Information on Ticket Types and Deposit:
You have the option to pay the full price of the tour at the time of booking by selecting the ticket type “Person (full charge)”. If, on the other hand, you want to pay a deposit, select the ticket type “Deposit (per person)”. You will be charged the balance before departure via a payment link. There are no restrictions on angling in the North Sea at this time. Take all your fish home with you. We make reservations for price increases (reg 28/6-2023)

An awesome skipper:
Skipper Ivan Lymann has, through a lifetime as a fisherman, acquired a unique knowledge of the North Sea and the adjacent sea areas. As an independent fisherman for 20 years, he has sailed across the North Sea as well as the English Channel, the Norwegian Coast and the sea around Ireland.
Since then, Ivan has been sailing with anglers for a number of years. First starting in Hvide Sande with M/S Fanø and M/S Solea. Now with his own boat M/S Nemo in Thyborøn. He has knowledge of a myriad of good fishing grounds and is a specialist in wreck fishing, where the ship keeps “quiet” over a wreck for so long that there is plenty of time to fish around the wreck.
Besides his lifelong passion for fishing, Ivan is known for his good mood, his jovial personality and professional approach. His ambition is for everyone to catch the fish they want, and he fights to the end for a good result.
A lovely ship:
The M/S Nemo is originally a Dutch boom trawler, which has been converted into a jigging vessel. It is an iron ship about 30 meters long, which weighs 140 tons and therefore lies incredibly well in the water.
The fishing freeboard has a comfortable height, which ensures good feel during fishing, since the distance to the water is no longer than the cohesion between the fishery, the water and the ship.
Fishing can be done on both sides, so there is a lot of space between the anglers, and there is space on the deck so that other anglers can pass without disturbing the fishing of others. In addition, there are four tables for filleting.
Guests can relax in the cosy lounge and enjoy the sea view. Here all meals are served and you can relax by 'spinning sailor yarn' together. On board there is also a three-man cabin as well as three four-man staterooms.
Location:
Thyborøn et eldorado for fishing events. With the North Sea to the west, the framework is in place for both the shorter and the longer fishing trips and wild sea safaris. While the Limfjord to the north offers good opportunities for freshwater fishermen, nature boating and other experiences.
Close to the pier of the harbour is the beach, where beach fishing is easily accessible. And within a short distance there is the possibility of put and take fishing in both saltwater and fresh water, as well as fishing in creeks.
M/S Nemo not only guarantees a great knowledge of current fishing opportunities (mainly cod, langer, pollock, catfish and mackerel), fishing grounds, fish species, fishing methods and wreck locations, but also nature experiences.
